Summary: The Analyst, Marketing works closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development and other functions of Nationwide Advisory Solutions to create content that meets the goals of the overall marketing plan. The Analyst, Marketing is a self-starting, creative writer who can balance projects across the spectrum of marketing.

This position will create, edit and distribute written and graphic content for Nationwide Advisory Solutions, as well as manage the Nationwide Advisory Solutions content calendar for dissemination across all channels. They are also responsible for adapting existing and new content for use by our marketing, sales, business development and distribution partners. This position must demonstrate an understanding of the Nationwide Financial and Nationwide Advisory Solutions vision, mission and brand. This person must be comfortable with learning how our products work and communicating these concepts in a succinct and compelling way.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The Analyst, Marketing will be responsible for activities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Tactical execution of NAS content plan and initiatives, including the curation, writing, optimization and measurement of all NAS content.

  • Maintaining editorial calendar, analyzing existing content/themes and researching/identifying new opportunities to improve content efforts across all platforms.

  • Working with communications/PR to uncover opportunities to craft compelling stories, and extending PR content into marketing programs

  • Assisting with a variety of special projects for marketing, sales, business development, etc.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license required within 120 days of hire date

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years marketing or communications experience

Knowledge: Experience in financial services preferred

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor - strong writing skills required

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously

  • Self-directed, motivated and takes initiative

  • Flexible and adaptable when facing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to understand technical product information and convey technical/financial concepts

Job Conditions:

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible (Non Exempt)

Working Conditions: Travel requirement less than 10%; Travel requirement up to 25%
